About Samantha:
Former Saracens and National team player. She also had the privilege to play for the Barbarians in a game against the U.S.A. After hanging up her boots, she wanted to become a rugby coach. She did the courses level 2 and 3 in Amsterdam, before starting her World Rugby level 3 course in Belgium. Sam loves to build relationships with players. She believes that the better you know the player, the better you can develop them on and off the pitch. With loving the rugby values, she wants to make sure that next generations also live up to them!

Sam loves to watch scary movies, and listen to music. Fun fact: she knows every Justin Bieber song there is! But also enjoys listening to Julio Iglesias, or some Jazz music. During training sessions or before a match, a bit of hardstyle gets her going. Sam recently became a mum, so loves to spend time with her son. She also loves going on holidays and enjoy spending time with family. With half of her family being Spanish, she loves to go there and eat some nice Spanish food.
Rugby Nederlands:
Sam worked her way up through the coaching pathway of Rugby Nederland. Starting as a forwards coach for the mens u16 for two years. After that, became a specialist scrum coach for the u20 in 2022 and 2023. This year working as the forwards coach for the men u18.
